ASU department of music to present Tuba, Euphonium Ensemble Concert

The department of music at ASU will present the ASU Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble in concert Monday, Oct. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in Riceland Hall, Fowler Center.
The program for the evening will include "Fanfare" by James Garrett, "Ave Maria" by Jacob Arcadelt, three sixteenth-century Flemish pieces transcribed by Kenneth Singleton, "Consortium" by John Cheetham, "Quartet for Tubas" by Paul Holmes and "Music for Tubas" by John Stevens. Members of the ensemble include Jarvis
Alexander of West Memphis, Jacob Davis of Piggott, Jennifer Hall of Tyronza, Zack Rikard of Highland, Ryan Riley of El Dorado, Joshua Smith of Sheridan, Joseph Talley of Jacksonville, Daniel Van Aalsburg of Highland, and Matt Watson of Walnut Ridge. The ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Ed Owen, assistant professor of music.
