Cayla Fielder and Taylor Coughlin make a play against University of Southern Alabama during Saturday's day.

At the first home game since the ASU Invitational more than a month ago, the Red Wolves volleyball team dominated the court.

Sophomore Cayla Fielder added nine kills to her growing record, hitting .750 for the night. Fielder also tallied a team-high four service aces.

"It's been great to finally play at home again," said ASU Head Coach Justin Ingram in a press release. "It's been a while, but being on the road makes us thankful to play here in front of our own fans and do all the activities we do each day."

The University of South Alabama Jaguars was fierce competition in the first set. However, eight of their nine service errors in the game appeared during this set. Skillful work from freshman Brittany Hoag helped seal the set at a 25-19 victory for the Red Wolves.

The second set was a runaway for ASU and the set was won by 25-14. The Red Wolves posted a .370 attack percentage while USA jags hit a -.062.

Teamwork from the Red Wolves could sum up the third set. Kelsie Hodges made a kill, and senior libero Heather Bowman made three aces. Hoag had back to back kills. The set ended in 25-10 and a sweep for the Red Wolves.

This ASU victory brings the Red Wolves to 13-5 and 3-1 in the Sun Belt Conference.
