Homecoming Week 2009

This year's Homecoming court (left to right) Morgan Bookout, Sharnea Diggs, Jamie Beck, Eleny Davis, Alexandra Rodery, Adrian Everett, Adam Jackson, Ryan Beaird, Tyler Allen and Mark Parsely. Voting for king and queen was Wednesday and the winners will be announced during halftime at Saturday's game.

Homecoming Court is set and Tuesday began the voting for king and queen. Since this is ASU's centennial year, this year's choices will be historic ones.

King hopefuls



Tyler Allen is a senior biology major from West Memphis. He is also the president of Interfraternity Council and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, a member of Medical Arts Club and American Chemical Society.

Ryan Beaird is a senior and business management major from Sikeston, Mo. He's already made ASU history by being the first registered junior to become Student Government Association president and by being the first SGA president to be reelected.

Adrian Everett is a junior and chemistry major from McGehee. He is involved in various organizations including Student Union Advisory Council (2009-2010), Student Government Association President Pro- Temp & Junior Senator (2009-2010).

Adam Jackson is a senior and history and philosophy major from Blytheville. He is an honor student and does pole vaults for the ASU track team.

Mark Parsley is a junior and radio/TV major from Malvern. He is in active organizations such as Admission Ambassador, ASU Orientation Leader and the Baptist Collegiate Ministries where he leads the BCM's worship band.

Queen hopefuls



Jamie Beck is a senior and communication studies, major from Rector. Her activities have included NPC Exec Board president and ASU Future Alumni Ambassador and the Student Activities Board.

Morgan Bookout is a junior and chemistry major from Jonesboro. She is a Chi Omega member and has been in various pageants including Miss Northeast Arkansas 2009 and Miss Arkansas State University 2008.

Eleny Davis is a junior and psychology major from Pine Bluff. She is also on the Chancellors List, in the Strong Turner 3.0 Club and is an honors student. Davis also has a twin sister Ebeny.
