Fast Feed: Black students banned from Chicago bar

Six African-American students from Washington University claimed they were discriminated against when barred from a nightclub during a trip to Chicago, while their 200 white classmates were allowed in.
The bar gave a statement to the Chicago Tribune stating that dress code violations, including baggy jeans, were the reason why the students were prevented from entering.
According to Washington University senior class president Fernando Cutz, who was among students admitted to the bar, a white student and a black student exchanged jeans to see what would happen and the white student was admitted while his classmate was still kept outside.
A representative of the bar told the Chicago Tribune on Thursday that the decision to bar the students was based on security concerns, not racism.
The next day, a bar representative told the paper the club was taking the issue "very seriously," and conducting an internal investigation and disciplinary action would be taken if necessary.
Students from Washington University say they have complained to Illinois state and federal agencies.

please, they did those black students a favor by not letting them in... that bar sucks!
